Senior dog shelter

We are volunteers who follow our hearts and have strong will to help homeless animals in Slovenia, Europe. We often help where others have given up hope. In many years of volunteer work, we always felt the lack of good animal shelters that would offer safe shelter and good care above the minimal standards to homeless abandoned animals. Often the animal shelters in Slovenia are full and reluctant to take in new animals.

We would like to continue to help the animals that need us. Unfortunately just heart and strong will are not enough. To help animals better and safely accommodate the abandoned ones, which is part of what we do, we really want to renovate our premises so we can register a good shelter for cats and dogs.

We have 80 m2 of space that we need to renovate into an animal shelter that fits all regulations and more. We want to make sure that all needs of cats are met. In the shelter there will be a lot of interactive aids for cats and dogs to improve their well-being. We will choose materials that follow legal requirements and also adjust the environment to cats and dogs' senses.

We will be able to do a lot with the help of our volunteers, but there are still high costs for the renovation - about 30,000 euros.

Please help us renovate the premises for the cat shelter. Raising the funds has been the biggest challenge so far. Only together we can make it happen. Every little bit helps and brings us one step closer to our goal – to help many cats and senior dogs that need us.
