Please Help Baby Leeana Breathe

A fundraising initiative for our little fighter, baby Leeana's hospital bills.

Baby Leeana, a 27 week-old (only 6 months and 3 weeks old) premature baby or preemie born on November 30, 2020. Weighing only 650 grams upon birth. She has been in the Neonatal Intensive Care unit (NICU) for almost three months already.

Due to her extreme prematurity and extremely low birth weight, baby Leeana continues to need specialized medical attention and treatment for various health concerns. She has been intubated on Day 2 and she is still on life support up to present. Due to prolonged intubation, she has developed Bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), a breathing disorder where an infant's lungs become irritated and do not develop normally. Doctor said that she may require to stay in NICU for two to three months more depending on her progress.

Despite her condition and through all the pain, Baby Leeana continues to fight. She has endured being reintubated 7 times, fought pneumonia and infections, multiple tests and injections. Please help us give her a fighting chance to survive and live a happy, normal life.

As of this date, her hospital bills are piling faster than we can keep up with, at approximately Php 30,000.00 to Php 40,000.00 ($625 to $830) per day. Our savings have been depleted due to complications at childbirth. Our family has been soliciting funds through different efforts but we still need help in raising the Php 4 Million ($83,000.00) necessary to give Baby Leeana the medical care she needs.

For this reason, we are asking for your good heart's help in raising funds for our baby. We are way behind in hospital bill payments that now amount to Php 2.5 Million ($50,000.00). This does not even include doctors' fees yet.

Any financial assistance you can share will most certainly help us.
