Epilepsy....

The incident happened when I was just a 1 yr baby. My Mom (including me) & Dad were going somewhere on a bike. Unfortunately, My Mom lost her balance and we both (me and my mom) got fall down. Later on it was found that, her right leg was completely broken. And, my front head was opened like a Coconut. It was a incident happened on the festive day over here in India called Holi (Festival of Colors). The area was not much populated and health services were not available there at that point of time. So, My Dad kept on trying to get some help from somewhere at that point of time.

Later, once we reached home. The hospital staff just stiched my head and remove the blood outside the head. That's what being told to me till date.

While asking my Mom about the incident, she told that my head got brutually crushed on the Road and the rest dump available over there. So, they were completed shocked to saw a hole in my head that point of time.

Due to non-availability of Neuro specialists at that point of time, NO MRI, EEG etc. was done, just a simple bandage and stiching thats all.

Later after couple of years, I got a seizure while watching television at home with my family. Everyone got shocked, but then what to be done. Though I was too small at that point of time, so couldn't related to all that properly. After complete medical examination, doctors put me on medication. The medicine was so traumatized that I almost started loosing my memory. So, I stopped talking to people or even interacting in a crowd. And, the reason was like I am a bit rude person in front of them, which I was already prepared for. As, knowing the fact about seizures, which may happen at any point of time.

Later when I was 13, My Dad passed away. So, being the male member of the family & the youngest among the kids. I got the responsibility of taking care about my 2 elders sisters and Mom.

Now, I had to do all those things which My Dad was supposed to do. But, nevertheless time doesn't stop for anyone. So, I started doing each and every small to big work, to ensure the safety, security of my family. Though, I got seizures on a regular basis, but never got a chance to even get concerned about them. The more I thought about seizures, the larger I felt like my body is becoming immortal or diseased. So, I stopped thinking about them and just focus on my sister's marriage and get them live there family in a much convenient manner.

With the courage of doing something better for the family, I being a guy who started his professional career as Data Entry Operator, but the need of money forced him to move for money, put me to a Sr. Manager level in organisations like Ernst & Young, Accenture, Aon Hewitt.

But, as we all know business is business. So, all the companies had same statement that Please get yourself fit first, and then join us later. I was bound to leave the organisations, but still I am thankful to these companies, to let me get my sisters married in a happy and safe place.

Today, I am 37 years old, without any job. Knowing the fact that, even if going for a job, the later statement after sometimes comes the same way, which won't let me spirit down till the last blink of my eye.

But as a human being and limited to the resources of the government, I have to use the internet medium while sharing my story over here. I always believe in giving what I have, no matter in the form of knowledge, help, money or anything else. Today, I am standing at such a point where I have to get myself completely medical treatment, and unable to do work due to health and safety reasons of the companies too.
