Seeking Sponsorship for AYIMUN 2020

Greetings of peace and joy!

I would like to introduce myself, my name is LYNGIL T. OLIVAR and I am a BA Communication Student of Cebu Normal University and currently residing in Mabolo, Cebu City, Phillipines. I am writing this letter to humbly inform you that this coming February 15^th- 18^th, 2020 will be the fourth edition of ASIA YOUTH INTERNATIONAL MODEL UNITED NATIONS (AYIMUN 2020) with the theme “Global Diplomacy amongst the Sovereign Nations” to be held in Putrajaya, Malaysia. Asia Youth International Model United Nations aimed to provide a platform for young future diplomats to encourage themselves in understanding global issues and its policies, debate and share perspectives among participants from different backgrounds and different ethnicities. The ultimate goal of Asia Youth International Model United Nations is to empower youth awareness of current international relations and issues, understand and try to form possible solutions to solve particular issues related to Human Security. I am chosen as one of the representatives of the Philippines to participate the AYIMUN 2020. To bring the name of my country and the city of Cebu in an international arena is a great opportunity for me to enhance my diplomatic skills in dealing and understanding current international issues and relations.

I'm crestfallen when I saw the amount needed for me to participate in such prestigious event. Joining this international congress is a great milestone for me because I dream of becoming a lawyer and an UN Diplomat in the future. The justice system here in the Philippines favors the rich ones, thousands are dying because of hunger, women are exploited and being forced to work as sex workers, students from out of reach provinces lack the opportunity to go to school, our farmers are being deprived by their own lands, teenage pregnancy is on the rise and the killings of innocent people are still going on.These are just some of the issues I want to tackle during the international congress. I'm just an ordinary student with an extraordinary dream of helping my country and the world with my ideas. I want my voice to be heard and to find solutions to these phenomenal problems. I am asking for your support to make this all happen.

In line to this, I am asking for financial assistance to sustain my needs in the said event; such as my accommodation, transportation and foods for the conference. The exact amount of money for the payment is $570. The deadline of the full payment issued by the AYIMUN will be on November 21, 2019.
