School FUNDING

In 2004 my family started a small school called Zanzibar Junior Academy located in Zanzibar , Tanzania the number one aim of the school was to enable orphans and kids from low ways families access to a good educations and facilities . The school has been running on loss and non profits through out the years . As for 2015 we have been kick out the building we were renting due to loosing our investor who was sponsoring us the rent (May he RIP ) . We are thankful we could manage to reallocate to another affordable building that slowly we could renovate and settle in. Every Now and then we get different sponsors funding some students that have no sponsors or books and also sometimes volunteer teachers etc.

We are currently on the edge to shut down the school due to lack of funds most of our students have no sponsors (some orphans or families can't afford to sponsor ) are beging that we do not shut down the school .Our biggest challenge is Rent we are looking to raise funds to at-least manage to acquire our own building so that the school could at least continue to operate on non profit as it 1st started.

Our school is located in Zanzibar urban west mbweni area . Its a small building but we are proud of the students we have been producing and continued to sponsor them to further their higher education .
