Dear Friends and Comrades,

This is my 5th BORNEO APPEAL. First of all, I would like to thank many of you for your kind, continued support.

My work on both book and films on plight of Borneo/Kalimantan continues, full speed. My last trip was in February 2020, when I visited East and West Kalimantan, including the area where the new capital city is supposed to be built. This insane, corruption-ridden project is temporarily postponed due to COVID-19. It should be cancelled, altogether. Soon, a book on this topic will be published and available both in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

While working in East Kalimantan, my guts and eyes were attacked by local parasites. An ordeal was described in my essay:

Your support is needed. Please help us to save once magnificent, not ruined and humiliated Borneo!

Thank you.

Warm regards,

Andre Vltchek
