❤️ If everybody gives a little bit, we will be able to raise the money to save this cat. ❤️
This cat is about 8-9 months old and has been through a lot very early in his life. About 2 months ago, I found him on the street and his eyes were cloudy. I took him to the vet and he had a cold and some fever. The vet thought that it was the cause of the cloudy eyes. I kept him at the vet clinic for over a week for treatment. After I got him out, his eyes looked a bit better, but still cloudy. He was back on the street and I gave him food and eye drops every day.
However, the eye drops did not seem to work and his eyes got worse unfortunately and now he is unable to see at all. My neighbors and I took him to a different vet today, and the vet said that he would need to run some blood tests, and that he might need to send him to a specialized eye doctors for cats, where he will most probably have an eye surgery since he suspects it might be a cataract. The blood tests alone will amount to around $150.
The cat is very weak, doesn't play, hardly goes out of his hiding and is scared all the time, mainly because he can't see. He eats very little and looks sad and down all the time. We left him at the vet clinic and he will stay there for a couple of days until we gather the money to take him for surgery.
I would like to ask you to chip in if you can so that together we can help this cat. Any amount would be appreciated. It would really mean a lot. Also, if you know anyone who could help, please share this page with them.
Hopefully when he recovers, we will be able to find him a loving home ❤️
He will stay at the vet clinic!Update posted by Houda K at 09:49 am
We found the cat a place to stay. He will stay at the vet clinic until his last days. I wish I could say that there was a cure for FIP, but unfortunately there isn't. Please keep him in your thoughts. Thank you so much for everyone who has donated
Bad news :/Update posted by Houda K at 11:43 am
I wish I had good news to share, but unfortunately, this update is not a good one. We took him for blood tests today, and as it turns out, he has FIP (feline infectious peritonitis), which has no cure :/We now need to find him a safe place to stay. . . . .
Thank you ❤️Update posted by Houda K at 07:00 pm
