Whether you're a dog person, or a cat person, we all share one thing in common; our love for them is immeasurable! Tigers which belong to the same species as our household felines are in grave danger. With only 3,500 tigers left roaming in the wild, numerous tiger sub-species have already gone extinct in the last 70 years. nine-sub-species of Panthera Tigris cruel fate, and the Malayan tiger (Panthera Tigris Jacksoni) could be next. Malayan tiger - The nation's icon of strength, beauty, and courage is on the brink of extinction with only about 100 left in the whole world.

How did this happen?

Globally, the tigers have lost 93% of its habitat due to human activities such as forest clearing, poaching, logging, etc. Climate change also plays a huge factor in the detriment of the tigers natural habitat.

What can I do to save them?

In collaboration with the Malaysian Conservation Alliance for Tiger (MYCAT), DMU Leicester, and ISUC student chapter (Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation), we proudly present to you a charity run named ROAR Run. With the aim of raising funds and spreading awareness of tiger conservation, ISUC has stepped forward to put matters into our own hands. By participating in the Roar Run, participants will receive numerous gifts provided by collaborative partners. All funds will be donated FULLY to MYCAT in accordance to our efforts to make a difference for the tigers' future.
