More than 3000 stray dogs, in one area alone, are trying to survive in the streets and wild fields of the city of Megara, Greece. Our animal Welfare Organization called ZEM (ZOOFILIKI ENOSI MEGARON) is trying its hardest to deal with bad cases of abuse and animal suffering daily and against all odds.

Stray animals poisoned, being shot to death or heavily injured, hit by vehicles, dumped in remote areas to starve, bullied for just existing, puppies and kittens being dumped all over the city and inside trash bins and so many owned dogs mistreated by their owners is the reality we have to deal with daily in Megara.

Please help us save the animals suffering from diseases, hunger and human abuse. We are in desperate need for funds in order to save and treat as many animals possible.

We are only a handful of volunteers striving day and night, 365 days a year to save as many poor souls as possible.

YOU can be a part of our animal rescue chain!!

YOU can make a difference to their suffering!!

YOU can help us be their voice!!

WE are all they have!!

PLEASE DONATE TODAY

YOUR DONATION can save an animal like Lydia (the one shown in the photo).🙏🏻

Watch the video of the rescue of our gorgeous boy Aris and photos of some of our worst cases.

Update posted by Eleni Manoli at 11:12 pm

We shiver at the thought of this poor soul wandering the streets helpless and all alone. We named him Johnny and we bet on him today... that he will transform into a happy, healthy dog with a loving family. We know we set the standards pretty high but we 've. . . . .
