THE CHRISTMAS GIFT – Save the Orphanage @HopeYaAfrika

Dear Reader,

I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of the Hope Ya Afrika Orphanage Foundation based in Wakiso Uganda. An orphanage supporting local children and neighbors, numbering loosely 30 children as of 04/11/2021.Due to new restrictions in Uganda, the Orphanage is suffering and in need of increased support for feeding children that previously relied on school meals, being unable to raise monthly rent fees for the shelter, medication, clothing among other necessities.

Their Goal
Their long term-goal is to become a self-sustained orphanage where by they can get their own land and start their own projects like farming, rearing goats and chickens ,and growing our own food and as well build a permanent home all at a cost of $10,000USD.
"That is the biggest struggle we face not having enough consistent sponsors. Sometimes we even fail to get what we need feed the children, or we only eat porridge and bread ,because we lack consistent sponsors, we have therefore launched this campaign to start income generating projects that will enable us earn income to fund our necessities." Richard says

I have been talking with and praying for this Orphanage for the last 2years and have found them to be faithful keepers and stewards of what is entrusted to them and of God's word and command to "look after widows and orphans in their distress" (James 1:27)

The leader of the orphanage, Richard, has been honest and forthcoming about their use of funds and care of the children, and has shown his own efforts to work to provide and not just rely on donations. He is always open to conversation and questions concerning the children and ministry.

Why Donate to Hope Ya Afrika Orphanage?
They need monthly sponsors of any amount to meet their CHRISTMAS GIFT goal that will enable to buy land and setup their projects such as the permanent shelter home for the children, farming and the daily needs for food and necessities such as home equipment like beds and mattresses.
They have impacted lives of over 60 children and adults in the past years with the available resources including adults through basic needs; food,necessities,medication,school materials,and clothing and monthly Shelter.
