Merry Christmas to each and all of you. I am not sure if you will read this funding considering that you don't know me, but it is Christmas and I want to continue believing that Christmas is the season of MIRACLES, of HOPE and GIVING.

I would like to seek assistance in paying our hospital bill of my wife with Mt Carmel Diocesan General Hospital, Lucena City. I fear that the hospital will not released her once we have a discharge order due to huge amount of her hospitalization.

My wife of 23 years and counting- Annalyn Manalo (youngest daughter of the late Guillermo Altovar Fajardo and Luz Tierra Quinto) was rushed/transferred at the said hospital last 17 November 2017 due to the severity of her illness and non availability/vacancy of an ICU in government hospital. She was diagnosed with Community Acquired Pneumonia High Risk and Myocardial Infarction (Cardio Myopathy - Global Hypokenesia) and was dying.

Our running bill has reached more than P500,000.00 already exclusive of the medicines that we bought outside the hospital premises. Our life savings of 20 years has been depleted due to her illness. We are prepared to execute a Promissory Note and I am willing to pay it within 1 year, but the hospital administration is forcing us to deposit another P200,000.00.

I already approached DSWD but unfortunately- their budget for their 2017 AICS Program is already gone and that I have to wait until 2018 to apply. With PCSO, I have all the required documents EXCEPT for the hospital Endorsement Letter which they refused to issue unless I make another a depostin of an additional P200,000.00. I told them that we no longer have any money left and that is the reason why I am seeking all the help I can get. I have written the President, Vice Presidents, Senators and ALL the politicians I can think of- as expected, you cannot expect any help from them unless it's Election Season.

I am aware that my wife is not covered by the ANTI HOSPITAL DETENTION LAW dahil private hospital sila even though I told them that the only reason she was rushed sa kanilang hospital ay dahil wala nga pong ICU na available sa government hospital and the medical staff of Dona Martha District Hospital, Atimonan and RAKK Prophet Hospital of Gumaca, Quezon Province can attest to that.

Dahil nga po sa pangangailangan ng aking asawa nang mga gamot upang siya'y mabuhay, napilitan po ako na pekein ang pirma ng hospital admin manager para makakuha pa ng gamot na di na binibigay ng hospital and because of this, the Admin Mgr of the hospital is threatening me with lawsuit- falsification of a private document. I am willing to face jail time for this pero di ko po kayang makitang parang bilanggo ang aking asawa sa hospital.

Napakahirap po ng aming kalagayan. The longer we stay here, the larger our bill will be. Dahil po sa pangyayaring eto ay lalong hinde gagaling ang aking asawa dahil sa stress na dulot nito. Di na po tumigil ang aking mahal na asawa sa kanyang pag-iyak dahil sa sitwasyon namin and I am afraid for her condition dahil nakakasama po sa kanyang puso. Wala pa po namang discharge order pero gusto na naming lumabas dahil wala na po talaga kaming maibabayad pa- even money to buy her medicines eh wala narin po.
