Save our country, Malaysia

Hi fellow Malaysians,

Our country, Malaysia, is facing massive debts due to chronic mismanagement of our country's funds. I know that fellow Malaysians, as well as those who hold Malaysia close to their hearts, would like to contribute a little bit to ease this financial burden.

I saw a viral post of someone sending an envelope with cash to the Ministry of Finance (MoF). I felt this is not as secured as the money could fall into the wrong hands.

As such, I decided to set up this page with the following principals:

1. You may donate as much or as little as you like. RM1 trillion debt would be equivalent of us paying RM33k per person. I am not after crowdfunding such a great target. However, I am sure that whatever we raise will of benefit to Malaysia. Let us try to surpass the RM300k target!

2. All funds received will be given to the MoF, to be used to service Malaysia’s debt in whatever manner the MoF deems as being the most urgent. This will be done in a transparent manner.

3. As this fund will be a collective donation from a number of backers, the MoF, and any detractors or naysayers, will not be able to misrepresent that this fund is a bribe in any way. This fund is purely to aid Malaysia in reducing its debt.

4. Should this fund be rejected in any way by the MoF all backers here will be able to vote to use the funds raised in another project that will be of benefit to Malaysia and as many Malaysians as possible or have the money returned to them. Malaysia’s RM1 trillion debt will be a huge burden to all Malaysians for many years. Reducing it is of personal importance to me in ensuring that my country is strong and robust.
