Save DELTA

Kindly help us in gathering funds for rescue and rehab operations in cyclone Gaja affected areas (Pattukotai, Vedaranyam, Nagai - Tamil Nadu). There are lot of poor farming families who require support and rehab. People in the affected areas have lost their lives, houses, live stocks and livelihood. We are in need of basic amenities for rescue operations. Later we will follow-up with rehab. Kindly donate generously since the delta area is the farming back bone of Tamil Nadu. The Tanjore delta region is dependant on Kaveri river and every year the farmers face drought and struggle doing agriculture though they have been keen in using water management techniques. This year the farmers and people who were expecting good harvest have been devastated due to Gaja cyclone leaving the region stripped off drinking water, food, shelter and basic amenities.
