SAVE AND HELP BABY MESHCAH ASHRIEL

Hi, there! My name is Meshcah. I was born on September 10, 2019. Not too long ago, right? My mom, dad, and big brother Meshach were very much delighted when they finally saw me after 9 months of waiting. By looking at me from that hospital window, they said I got chubby cheeks, sweet little eyes, and plump lips—just like my mom's. I patiently waited for my mom to hold me in her arms. “Not yet, ” the doctor said. I first had to go through a certain test. When he came back, he said something to my mom and dad that made them cry. I wondered what he had told them... and why were they crying?

The doctor said he heard a murmur from my heart. I had this murmur from the moment I was born. He needed to do the test to make sure it was not something serious but it was. I was diagnosed with TGA (Transposition of Great Arteries). It is a rare congenital heart defect with an unknown cause. My heart's pipes are not connected to where they are supposed to be connected—the reason I am blue and cannot breathe well. Mom would not stop crying. She said she didn’t want to lose me.

The doctor said that I must undergo an Open Heart Surgery as soon as possible to fix it. Please help my family as we will need more than 1 million pesos (PHP) for my surgery to happen. Your prayers and any amount would help. Though I cannot repay you with money, I promise to play with you all when I get better. Please help me get better.

I have yet to hold my mom, dad, and big brother. I don’t want to go yet. I want to grow up and be with my mom, and dad, and big brother, and you.

For now, I'm here in NICU to rest and prepare for my surgery. It's cold in here. I can't wait to sleep beside my mom and feel her warmth.
