Save a mother, save a baby

Since 2020, Botswana cases of domestic violence, gender based violence and killings have shot up. Coupled with high unemployment or maybe even exacerbated by unemployment - this situation has left mostly women and children vulnerable and without the most basic necessities. Most of them are either left to care for their children without the fathers or they are staying in abusive relationships because the abuser is the provider and they see no out. Social media especially Facebook has been awash with women anonymously asking for donations to meet their most basic needs or asking for advice because they see the danger of staying in a certain relationship but they are afraid to leave because then their children will suffer materially. With this fundraiser I hope to be able to assist whenever a parent in any of this situations falls short or to even bold ask one to leave a relationship knowing she can get a starter to tide her over until she can find something to do.
