Campaign Story
Carlos B. Peralta ( or “Kuya Caloy”, as we fondly call him), joined our Creator at the age of 38 on the 26th of January 2020. After undergoing days of struggle, healing, and prayers, Kuya Caloy died of cerebrovascular hemorrhage – a stroke cause by mainly by hypertension and blood clotting at certain areas of the brain.
Around 1'o clock in the morning of January 24th, Kuya Caloy already showed signs of stroke. He was rushed to the hospital and was immediately admitted to the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit. Several procedures and operations were done in hopes of improving his health. Unfortunately, the amount of effort did not translate into any good development. After a day of his confinement, he was finally pronounced as “brain-dead”.
Given all of the unpaid hospital and funeral expenses due and piling up, his family is left with a seemingly insurmountable challenge. With Kuya Caloy being the breadwinner of his household after his father’s passing, his mother (Mama Bless) and siblings are struggling to make ends meet- let alone heal from the emotional baggage they have been suffering from his loss.
Kuya Caloy was an inspiration to the many lives he touched – not only to his family but to everyone. Aside from being a university registrar at St. Augustine College, Mandaluyong, he is an active charity fundraiser, a Feast Valle Verde church choir member, and a school basketball coach. He lived a life of service to people. AND NOW, HE NEEDS YOUR HELP.
For those who wish to extend their help in supporting the family, in cash or in kind, please see the details below:
Or you may also contact, his mother, Auntie Blessilda Peralta for any queries.

And for his family, friends, and colleagues who wants to offer prayers or pay respects, the family plans to hold his wake and celebrate his life at St. Peter Chapel, St. Peter Life Plan Bldg. Quezon Avenue, Quezon City:
Public Viewing is at Room 301 Tent from Wednesday, 29th January to Saturday, 1st February
Internment will be held at Himlayang Pilipino on Sunday, 2nd February 2020.
Heartfelt thanks to your generosity! May you stay blessed as God have been to Kuya Caloy’s life!
