Hello!
I am collecting funds for the construction of 10 living rooms for the Buddhist monks at Sungdrelling Monastery in Bakham village of Sindhupalchok district, Nepal. This monastery follows Vajrayana tradition, Nyingma lineage. 10 rooms will accommodate around 20-25 monks.
Estimated total amount needed is around 10,000 USD. Out of these 2000 USD are already raised from offline crowdfunding platforms. Hoping to find another 8000 USD.
This monastery www.sungdrelling.org was started by Lama Khenpo Ngawang Namgyal Rinpoche in 2014, and i help him ever since. So far we have managed to build only a central temple.

The rooms for monks(to live, sleep, study and meditate) is the essential second half of project, upon completion of which the monastery will be able to open its doors for Buddhism studies. Hopefully the completed monastery will also acquire the status of Buddhist Institute in the future, with the ability of preparing the traditional Lopens and Khenpos (Buddhist teachers in tibetan tradition).
I hope to raise the needed amount as soon as possible, though the last desired date would be somewhere around December 2018.

If you agree that spreading the Buddhist culture would be of immense help to many today, please help any bit you can. Every dollar counts for us! Thank you very much!
P.S. You are welcome to ask me any question related to this project, i will be happy to explain.
