Romania in ONE DAY

Imagine the following scenario: you are in transit for a day in a small town or village in Romania. And you want to do something there. To visit everything you can see in the area. But you can't find any information about that place.
In this moment Romania has 13,750 settlements. Few of them, especially the cities (but not all) and some villages are known for their history. And those places are visited by a lot of tourists. But there are many places that hide incredible beauty but no one knows anything about them.
Romania in a day is a project meant to reveal all these riches of heritage and make them known. It is the largest project of its kind in the country. All similar projects focus on the great settlements, already known by tourists.
Having this in mind we want to make the largest database of tourist objectives in all of Romania. For this we need people to work at that and money to achieve our goals. At this moment we already have a team of 100 volunteers students. In Romania students travel free by train so we solved the problem of transportation. But not entirely, because you can't travel everywhere by train. But the problem of money still remains. Also is necessary to purchase the equipment, web domain and food / accommodation during the trips.
The idea of this project is that in each settlement we provide information about what you can see and do in a specific area whether it's a rock, a river or a secular tree. In addition to these we want to connect with several families of locals who can ensure accommodation for a few guests, also ensuring a traditional meal. Payment will be actually a donation. All of this will help the local community to thrive and create a circular and sustainable economy.

Volunteers will be divided into 50 teams of 2 people. Each team will cover 5 locations per month.

Who are we?
We are, above all, a young couple passionate about travel and beautiful things. We have just set up thet largest community of travel lovers in Romania (our country) Nomadia Travel. I, Cristi have an IT company and my future wife is a physiotherapist. Together we want to do something for our country and to change the world but we need your help.
