Help Rolando Paulo have a chance to Live..

Hello my name Rhysha May and I'm holding this fundraiser for my father Rolando who is currently on life support in the ICU since Oct 8 due to severe diabetic complications. It is such a bittersweet moment that we are celebrating his 66th birthday today. 😭🎂

Over the course of the last week his condition has failed to improve and we were notified, after another CT scan that cognitively he is no longer with us so we were given the choice to take him off life support and with the expectation he will move on to be with our Father in Heaven after….😭😭😭😭😭 BUT we said NO and many many prayers have been prayed and our faith has been both tested and strengthened throughout the last few days as we have witnessed him fought for his life one day at a time so who are we to give up? If he will go, he will go in his own pace but we will do everything we can to save him.

Things have been really hard for him and for the family since he suffered a stroke and became wheelchair bound a month ago. On Oct 7, he had another major attack and was brought to the ER at the nearby district hospital and then he was transferred to the Black Nazarene Hospital in San Nicolas.

Having him in the ICU costs us 5k-10k per night, not including the other hospital expenses and doctor fees. That being said, he has exhausted his medical insurance already and his hospital bill continues to rack up as he goes through more procedures to recover. He has started to undergo Dialysis and currently, this is an out of the pocket expense for every session.

As you may have know, I’m a stay at home Mom to my 1 yr old daughter and my sister took a break from work to help our mother in the hospital. With very limited resources at the moment, we are asking for your help in affording his medical costs to lessen the financial burden from my mother as she solely focuses on taking care of him.

This has been, and will continue to be, a trying time for our family as we brace on what comes next. The love and support we have already received has been immeasurable and appreciated more than we could ever express.
