The World Supremacy Battlegrounds (WSB) is one of the biggest and most prestigious international hip-hop dance competitions in the southern hemisphere. It is a great opportunity for our team to be invited to this dance competition to celebrate the art of dance and represent our country.

Three local groups - Eyes on Me, The Streak, and Spacebar - collaborated in February 2019 to form a 40-member crew known as “The Sovereign.”

The group competed in WSB’s Mindanao Leg on March 30, 2019, held at the Almendras Gymnasium in Davao City, and were qualified to compete in the WSB Intercontinental Championship 2019 – Monster Crew Division.

The competition will be held at Sydney, Australia (Blacktown City) on October 4-6, 2019 where teams from different parts of the world will battle it out for the top spot.

We consider it an honor to represent Gen. Santos City and the Philippines in the international arena and are very determined to join the world championships. This will be the first time that GenSan will be represented on the world stage since 2008.

We hope that in joining, we can enlarge our sphere of influence both locally and globally, put GenSan back on the dance map, and inspire young artists to pursue productivity and excellence.

We would like to give you the opportunity to partner with us in this milestone by helping send the team to the world finals.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to share our journey with you. We look forward to conquering the world stage with you. God bless you and your family.
