Campaign Story
Hi my name is Mark Lacsamana, also known as Rainbow Riders. I have been a cyclist for close to two years and I’m riding my first Audax ride (200km endurance ride) this Dec 4 in Subic. Riding the audax has been my cycling goal since I started and I thought it would be a perfect place to combine my love for cycling and cause that is dear to my heart.
The HIV problem of the Philippines has not disappeared throughout the years, while access to life saving drugs, condoms and prep has gotten slightly better we are still far away from our goal. Stigma still exists for people living with HIV, preventing them from accessing treatment and mobility. Access to tests and preventive drugs like PREP is still hard for marginalized groups specially outside Metro Manila.
This is why I’m riding my first audax in support of Red Whistle and their HIV awareness campaigns. Every 100 PHP pledged will equate to 1km of my Audax ride.
All proceeds will go towards RedWhistle and SHIP clinic
