Research and Data Management Training Centre

The Research and Data Management Training Center will be nonprofit institution with the mandate of providing cutting-edge data management and research trainings, research solutions and technical services to institutions that are implementing development projects in the rural poor communities of Ghana and the Sub-saharan African countries. The Centre will also provide operational services across all areas of survey research and practices; from study design to data collection and storage, analysis and dissemination of study results. The Centre, during and after its set-up phase, will collaborate with various institutions, organizations, think-tanks and donor agencies.

The Centre will have two advisors with general oversight from the Executive Director. Additionally, the Centre will have one Operations Manager, Research Fellows, a Research and Data Coordinator, Senior Research Analysts, Programmers, Training instructors, Research Associates and interns.

We will work with organizations, institutions and agencies to develop and implement training and technical assistance programs aimed at improving performance and maximizing impact.

Through innovative solutions and effective learning interventions, we help individuals, Government institutions and development partners overcome programmatic and personnel obstacles and empower them to reach their most ambitious goals. Our diverse and experienced team will develop and conduct series of trainings and provide technical assistance in a variety of areas including:

1. Research Methodology and Report Writing

2. Data Management and Analysis

3. Project Cycle Management

4. Survey Research Methods

5. Survey Instrument Programming

6. Monitoring and Evaluation

An investment in training and technical support for program implementers and employees allows organizations, institutions and agencies to build and maintain a strong, in-house foundation of experience and to better serve its clients and partners.

The Centre will also offer research and technical services across all areas of survey research on impact evaluations of social protection programs; be it in the area of Economics, Agriculture, Health, Education, Employment, SMEs, Microfinance, etc.
