Funding Rescued pregnant dog

Please help Phoebe !!!!!

Phoebe was found cowering under a truck by my dog Bailey while we were out walking. She was terrified, hungry and thirsty and very pregnant.

I offered her some water and treats and she followed me home. I was worried that if left on the streets, she would probably be hit by a car, mistreated and would not have medical care so I took her to the Dog Palace for boarding. She was so scared and tried to bite everyone who came close to her for the first few days. BUT, then she showed her true colors and is now a very sweet and loving girl.

The initial plan was to board her at Dog Palace for a short time until I could find her a foster or forever home but no one wanted to take a pregnant dog. So she continues to stay at the Dog Palace.

After a few weeks she gave birth to six precious puppies (3 males and 3 females).

AND the boarding fees doubled!

Phoebe and her puppies were taken care of, all their vaccinations were done, but it’s getting colder and the puppies got sick. We rushed them to the vet but one puppy didn’t make it.

And the expenses keep adding up!

The puppies are taken care of now BUT Phoebe is still being boarded.

To date: November 19, 2018 the bill at Dog Palace (including vet bills) is USD 1400.

I am a teacher and I cannot afford to keep taking care of her and paying the bills by myself BUT I want to help her until she finds a home.

I’m asking for your help. Every penny helps and all donations will go directly for the care of Phoebe while we continue to look for a good foster home or a forever family for this sweet girl.
