For my birthday this year, I'm raising funds to help the families who are affected by Typhoon Odette in Bohol.
It’s been one month since super typhoon Odette/Rai made landfall in the Philippines. Intensifying from a tropical storm to a super typhoon within hours, Rai brought torrential rains, violent winds, landslides, and storm surges, making nine landfalls in seven provinces.
The entire province of Bohol has been placed under a state of calamity due to the damage caused by the Super Typhoon. Approximately 175,000 families have been displaced and the entire province is facing shortages of water, with several people reported to have died due to dehydration. Power has been cut and early estimates say power restoration won’t return until February to March 2022.
Your gift and contribution will be used for relief and recovery funds. We will be sending 100% of your donation directly to them to help cover basic necessities, including clean water, food, hygiene kits, mosquito nets, shelter-grade tarpaulin as temporary shelter, and solar lamps.
No donation is too small. This will directly impact the hearts of those affected by the typhoon.
Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.
