Rebuilding of Sr. San Roque Chapel (Cantiobong, Mabasa, Argao)

Super Typhoon Rai (known as “Odette” in the Philippines) was the strongest typhoon that hit the Philippines particularly in Cebu, Bohol and other nearby provinces last December 2021. It damaged thousands of houses, millions of agriculture and devastated building structures and infrastructures - our small Sr. San Roque Chapel was not an exception.

I grew up in a small and remote community in Sitio Cantiobong, Barangay Mabasa, in the town of Argao, southern part of Cebu province. As a way of giving back to the community, I and my siblings are helping our community to rebuild our St. Roque Chapel and this campaign with augment the current level of fund that we have.

This campaign will be a great help to rebuild not only the structure of the chapel itself but most importantly, the HOPE and HAPPINESS of the folks in our small community.
