The EYE of Tropical Cyclone Melor (local name Typhoon NONA) entered the coastal towns of Oriental, Mindoro Philippines. The storm surges, heavy rainfall and strong winds left many homes of families damaged and completely gone.
In the small coastal town of Gloria, the number of partially and totally damaged households has reached : 8, 693 It is heartbreaking to see the children and elderly having no comfortable or safe place to sleep in. Thousands of men and women's livelihoods have been affected with crops destroyed and businesses closed because of no electricity.
With the town now under State of Calamity, the people of Gloria need a lot of help in starting anew. However amount you can provide would help them get back on their feet and have roofs over their heads again. Proceeds of your donations will go to rebuilding their homes better and providing alternative livelihood.
