G'Day!
Our wonderful club of 40 years is raising funds so we can re-build our club grounds at our new home.
We had to relocate due to constant vandalism, the surrounding roads becoming more heavy with traffic, the property also couldnt cater for all levels of riders and the landlord would only offer another 2 years on our lease.
We started the daunting task of moving all our equipment and working at the new property only to be told that all work must cease immediately as extremely rare flora and fauna was found on the property and by having horses there would impact on this so we were told we would have to relocate yet again.
Luckily for us our landlord found us another suitable property however it is a blank slate and we must start from scratch, we have to;
- Construct a Driveway & Front Gate
- Design & Submit Plans for Building Permits
- Connect; Electricity, Water, Gas
- Parking Spaces
- Club Rooms & Kitchen
- Toilets
- 2x Riding Arenas
- Cross Country Course
- Horse Yards
- Wash Bays
- Outdoor Seating
- Build & Paint Fences
- Plant 200+ Native Plants
- Storage Sheds
As you can see the club has a huge task ahead but we have dedicated members and we are all passionate about our club and what it can do for the youth of our community.
The benefits these funds will bring to the Southern Peninsula Club will see our members being able to ride in a safe enviroment and learn the basics of horse care and management along with socializing with people that share the same interests.
Our Goal of $10,000 will see the completion of 1 fenced riding arena.
Rewards
The lucky recipient will receive a professionally hand drawn portrait of your own horse from a photo from an extremely talented local Artist; Laura White. Laura specializes in Thoroughbreds and can transform a drawing into a unique piece of art.
