Raising funds for purpose of building and buying resources for WIDE school

1. The Wishful Institute of Development and Education, WIDE, is a locally run NGO that provides free extra-curricular English and computer lessons to disadvantaged children. We currently support approximately 50 students across our office and via in-school visits. During this, we teach English literature and language. Our mission is to provide our students with the capacity to change their social and economic positions.

Recently we have started to accommodate international volunteers to help improve the quality of education we can provide. Unfortunately, we have reached our occupational capacity. We do not have the financial or housing means to support the consistent arrival of new volunteers. We currently have a handful of hosts who house and feed our volunteers, with varying costs and proximities to our office. As a solution, we aim to rent a property close to our office where at least four volunteers can stay at one time. We strongly believe that this will improve the ‘attractiveness’ of our volunteer experience whilst increasing the productivity of the volunteer's stay.
