Campaign Story
His eyes had been surgically extracted because the eyes had become blind owing to blood vessel rupture for which he was rescued at Barasat, India. He's now completely blind with additional complication of infection in one eye subsequent to operation in May 2018. The infection having spread quickly to his nasal tract, it erupted through a self created orifice on his forehead just beside his left eye. Oozing of pus through it became a regular problem, creating nasal obstruction as well.
Three doctors consulted. None of them expressed any hope of undertaking a minor surgical procedure to clean out the pus through an incision. Being plagued with shelter problems for many months, we've not been able to take him to Belgachhia for want of two attendants who can spend several hours there for treatment and possibly multiple visits. But we have it on agenda.
His earlier operation cost had been borne by other kind persons who we have named before at our previous Post. Some more kindness required for his transport and treatment at Belgachhia or some other specialists clinic.
To increase the capacity of PAWS, Donate to PAWS and take on passive adoption of our lifetime sheltered dogs.
