Qurbani Project for the Gaza Strip

Every year ,The Palestinian Orphan Home association implements Qurbani project in the Gaza Strip. Thankfully, this project has achieved success in the previous years, this encourages the association to implement this project this year, especially due to the worsening economic situation of poor and needy families.

The economic conditions in the Gaza Strip for several years has led to a significant rise in poverty and unemployment in the Gaza Strip, the most prominent causes for this is the reduction of salaries, decreasing the services of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) and the cessation by some international institutions of their services to the Palestinians.

New statistics in the Gaza Strip showed that the living conditions in the Gaza Strip deteriorated to their highest levels compared to previous years.

Problem and justifications

*The low standard of living in the Gaza Strip for thousands of Palestinian families, and their inability to purchase basic necessities for their lives, especially during Eid al-Adha.

*Continuation of the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip, which in turn led to an increase in the number of poor and needy families, and increase the unemployment rate and the number of unemployed.

*The high prices of meat, and the low income, which means inability of poor families and needy to buy Qurbani meat during the Eid al-Adha.

*Indicators related to malnutrition in the Gaza Strip, particularly among children and women. This project is aimed at alleviating this problem

*Encouraging applying the rites of Islam and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, and to draw a smile on the lips of the poor and needy during Qurbani season.

It is thus clear that the extremely difficult humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip, this require the greatest effort and the greatest contribution to alleviating the siege and improving the living conditions of our people in the Gaza Strip.

Qurbani Project:

It is necessary for Palestinian Orphans Home Association to provide assistance that alleviates the suffering of these families, so each year the association implement the project of Qurbani and distribute meat to the poor and needy in the Gaza Strip.

Following the order of Allah Almighty, " So pray to your Lord and sacrifice [to Him alone].

," and his saying, " And We ransomed him with a momentous sacrifice." And following the Sunnah of the Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who sacrificed two sheep, and a revival of the Sunnah of the Prophet's father and messengers Ibrahim, peace be upon him in the redemption of his beloved son Ismail peace be upon him, and because that the sacrifice is one of the most beloved works for that helps Muslim to be close to Allah in this great day. Each year in the Eid al-Adha , the association starts the preparation and implementation of Qurbani project to meet the needs of a vulnerable people of the Gaza Strip during the days of Eid al-Adha, those days where the believers has this great chance to worship Allah.

The Palestinian Orphan Home Association undertakes all activities of the project, which include purchasing of sacrifices, slaughtering and distribution the meat to the beneficiary in all areas in the Gaza Strip.

Overall Objective

To contribute to the provision of sacrificial meat for orphans, widows, poor families and needy people.

Special expected objectives

*Introduce joy and smile to thousands of Palestinian families during Eid al-Adha, by providing them with sacrificial meat

*Mitigating the suffering of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

*Creating jobs and supporting the Palestinian economy in Gaza by supporting the farms of cows and sheep.

*To strengthen the feeling of our people in Gaza with the support of their brothers in the Arab and Islamic world.

*Working towards achieving the principle of social solidarity and interdependence among the nation's people.

Project budget

- Price of sacrifice (sheep) 350 USD

- The price of one share in the calf is $ 300

The total budget of the project is US $ 20,000 and seeks to distribute Qurbani meat machine about 3000 poor and needy families, where each family benefit from 1-2 kg, according to the number of family members.

مشروع الأضاحي لقطاع غزة 1440هـ - 2019م

تقوم جمعية دار اليتيم الفلسطيني بتنفيذ مشروع الأضاحي سنويا في جميع أنحاء قطاع غزة، وبحمد الله أن هذا المشروع حقق خلال السنوات السابقة نجاحا يدفع الجمعية إلى السعي قدما لتنفيذه لهذا العام خاصة بسبب زيادة سوء الوضع الاقتصادي للأسر الفقيرة والمحتاجة.

حيث أدت الظروف الاقتصادية التي يعاني منها قطاع غزة منذ عدة سنوات، والتي كان أبرزها خصم الرواتب، وتقليص خدمات وكالة غوث وتشغيل اللاجئين” الاونروا” ووقف بعض المؤسسات الدولية خدماتها المقدمة للفلسطينيين، إلى ارتفاع كبير في معدلات الفقر والبطالة في القطاع.

وقد أظهرت إحصائيات ومعطيات جديدة في قطاع غزة، أن الوضع المعيشي في القطاع تدهور إلى أعلى مستوياتها، مقارنة بالسنوات الماضية، حيث أن:

نسبة البطالة بالقطاع وصلت لـ52% خلال العام الماضي 2018م.

عدد العاطلين عن العمل بلغ 300 ألف شخص خلال عام 2018،

نسبة البطالة بين الخريجين التي تتراوح أعمارهم ما بين 20_29 سنة، بلغت نسبتها 69%

ارتفاع معدلات الفقر في قطاع غزة إلى 53%.

انعدم الأمن الغذائي لدى الأسر في قطاع غزة.

المشكلة والمبررات

تدني المستوى المعيشي في قطاع غزة لآلاف الأسر الفلسطينية، وعدم مقدرتهم على شراء المستلزمات الأساسية لحياتهم خصوصا في أيام عيد الأضحى.

استمرار الحصار المفروض على قطاع غزة والذي بدوره أدى لزيادة عدد الأسر الفقيرة والمحتاجة، وزيادة نسبة البطالة وأعداد العاطلين عن العمل.

ارتفاع أسعار اللحوم، وقلة الدخل مما يعني عدم مقدرة الأسر الفقيرة والمحتاجة على شراء لحوم الأضاحي خلال موسم عيد الأضحى.

المؤشرات المتعلقة بسوء التغذية في قطاع غزة وتحديداً لدى الأطفال والنساء فيأتي هذا المشروع للتخفيف من هذه المشكلة.

تشجيع تطبيق شعيرة من شعائر الإسلام وتطبيق لسنة النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، ورسم البسمة على شفاه الفقراء والمحتاجين في موسم الخير.

ومن هنا يتضح بشكل جلي أن الظروف الانسانية البالغة الصعوبة التي يمر بها قطاع غزة تتطلب بذل أعظم الجهد وأكبر المساهمة في تخفيف وطأة الحصار وتحسين الظروف المعيشية والحياتية لأهلنا في قطاع غزة.

مشروع الاضاحي:

وكان لزاما علينا في جمعية دار اليتيم تقديم المساعدات التي تخفف من معاناة هذه الأسر حيث نقوم كل عام بتنفيذ مشروع الأضاحي وتوزيع اللحوم على الفقراء والمحتاجين في قطاع غزة.

وعملا بقول الله عز وجل "فصل لربك وانحر" وقوله تعالي " وَفَدَيْنَاهُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِيمٍ". وتأسياً بهدي سيد الخلق أجمعين محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم الذي ضحى بكبشين أملحين, وإحياءً لسنة أبي الأنبياء والمرسلين إبراهيم الخليل عليه السلام في الفداء عن فلذة كبده ومهجة قلبه إسماعيل عليه السلام، ولأن الأضحية من أحب الأعمال التي يتقرب بها المسلم إلى الله في هذا اليوم العظيم، نقوم في كل عام في عيد الأضحى المبارك على الشروع في إعداد و تنفيذ مشروع الأضاحي ليسد عوز واحتياج شريحة ضعيفة من أبناء محافظات قطاع غزة خلال أيام عيد الأضحى المبارك، تلك الأيام المشهودة يعظِّم فيها المؤمنون شعائر الله

وتتولي جمعية دار اليتيم الفلسطيني جميع أنشطة المشروع والتي تتمثل في عملية شراء الأضاحي وعملية الذبح والتوزيع إلى المناطق المستفيدة في قطاع غزة.

المساهمة في توفير لحوم الأضاحي للأيتام والأرامل والأسر الفقيرة والمحتاجين.

إدخال الفرحة والبهجة والبسمة على آلاف الأسر الفلسطينية في أيام عيد الأضحى من خلال توفير لحوم الأضاحي لهم

التخفيف من معاناة أبناء الشعب الفلسطيني في قطاع غزة.

خلق فرص عمل ودعم الاقتصاد الفلسطيني في غزة من خلال دعم مزارع الابقار و الأغنام .

تعزيز شعور أهلنا في غزة بالدعم والمساندة من إخوانهم في العالم العربي والإسلامي.

العمل على تحقيق مبدأ التكافل الاجتماعي والترابط بين أبناء الأمة.

سعر الاضحية ( خروف ) 350 دولار

سعر الحصة في العجل 300 دولار

حيث تبلغ تكلفة المشروع 20000 دولار أمريكي وتسعى الجمعية الى توزيع لحوم الاضاحي الى حوالي 3000 أسرة فقيرة ومحتاجة حيث تستفيد كل اسرة من 1-2 كيلو من لحوم الاضاحي حسب عدد أفراد الأسرة.
