Pupils Golden Dreams

Hello everyone, I am Teacher Ernice Gavin Juezan. A public school teacher here in the Philippines for 5 years. Being a teacher is a big responsibility to the society. A lot of people are expecting a lot of things from us, not only teaching the kids academically but teaching them holistically.
I joined GoFundMe because I really want to help my students to make them feel at home whenever they are in my classroom. I joined GoFundMe because I want my students to realize how important they are to me. I want to show them that every time they go inside my classroom they will not limit the imaginations that they have. I am saying this because I have some students who are not coming to school because they do now have enough food to eat at home. They stop going to school because they do not have enough school supplies because they cannot afford to buy even one pencil. They stop going to school because they have family problems at home. They stop going to school because they don't have the proper uniform to wear. I have so many students that needs help and I want to help them, but sad to say I am only one. I don't have the power, the financial capability to help my students one by one and motivate them to go to school. If I will be able to have enough funds, I will be able to improve my classroom, make it a better place for them to stay even in a very short period of time, make them feel at ease and not being scared. If I will have enough funds I will have feeding programs every week in my classroom so that my students will not be able to feel hungry and they will be able to learn many things. If I have the funds I will be able to supply them with the things they need in school for them to be motivated to learn. I as a teacher is just a tool in helping these little kids in having a better future. YOU are a gift to them. Thank you so much for reading my story.
