Publish My First Book

Hi, first and foremost, thank you for reading about my fundraiser. This could help a lot of students in my country.

This fundraising project has been created as I hope that some of my friends, family and even strangers could help fund my book idea.

 
I've fallen short of RM5000. This amount is needed to publish my book. 

My Book and I :

I love Mathematics and Physics. I’ve been a part time tutor for the past 9 years, since I was 19 years old. I love to teach students Math, Add Math and Physics. It makes me feel good and alive.

Being a tutor for the past 9 years, I noticed that most of the students do not know how to study the right way? They seem to be lost and they do have an order to study. Without the right learning methods, they will not be able to finish their high school with excellent results.

No one seems to tell them that:-

“Learning is not about your grades, it is about how you organize your thoughts so that it can be retrieved with ease and put to use.”

Most students do not understand that learning is a lifelong process. And, I believe that cramming their syllabus the night before exams is a total waste of time. The knowledge seems to be stored in their short term memory. That’s why they forget all about what they have learned in just a few days. Some students forget it right after their exams. And now, they have to study harder for their next exam.

After years of observing my students and trying to remold them, I manage to make some of them score excellent results by helping them to get their basics straight. Though it takes a long time, it can be done.

This problem seems to exist in most of my students. Only those with very strict parents seem to have an organized method of studying. Others are just floating aimlessly.

Thus, I’ve set out to fix this. I’ve studied thousands of articles and research papers on the process of learning. I have written a book titled, “The Art of Being an ‘A’ Student.” I have presented my discoveries on what students should and should not do. I have also suggested some techniques to correct their mistakes and help them to redirect themselves to align with the right learning method regardless of where they are and what they are doing now. I kept the young readers in mind when I wrote this book. The book is easy to understand by people from all walks of life.

The aim of this book is to create awareness among the students on the art of learning and organizing their thoughts.
