RationaleAmidst the unceasing effort of the Philippine Educational System to promote the love of reading and to promulgate the English Proficiency to the students, still the Philippines has been experiencing a rare phenomenon- where there has been a slow incline of Non-readers.Thus, this celebration will encourage the students to read and to improve their English Proficiency in the process.
  2. ObjectivesThe celebration for the Reading Program cum English Festival aims to inculcate to students the love of Reading and English Language, as a tool that they can use to help them lead and succeed in their future endeavours.The celebration also aims to achieve the following objectives:
  1. Maximize students’ speaking and writing skills through friendly and worthwhile competition.
  2. Raise students’ appreciation of literary pieces of personal and social growth.
  3. Provide learning experience where students can exemplify values of honesty, sportsmanship, and goodwill.
