Hello! My name is Jemima Ohiman, 24 years old currently working in Dubai for 5 years now as overseas worker. You might going to say 'why do I still need your funds where in fact I can support studies myself?' Being the breadwinner of the family (I and my sister) at a young age, as young as 17 years old (after we lost our dad) has not always been what most of us Filipinos has chosen to be. I had always been a working student since I was in my secondary high school until I got to college because our parents were struggling most of the time to support all of us 7 siblings for our education. At the age of 20, I completed my college education and decided to work in United Arab Emirates with the hope of being able to land a job the could give support for my family and younger siblings back in Philippines.

Its been five years now that I have been working, selflessly giving all my support for my family and was able to let two younger siblings for finish their studies. I have realized that its time for me to pursue my own goal in life: to study abroad and get a quality education.

For all the people out there who has a big heart and kind enough to support me for my studies, your every penny counts and I will take as something that I will always be thankful for.
