Kigali Youth Innovation Expo is planned and organized by team 6 girls in grade 12. It was started with aims of promoting hard work and talent, creating contacts, exposing the vendors to potential customers and investors and improving entrepreneurial skills of fellow students in the country.

Kigali has thousands of gifted and hardworking youths. We chose to give this opportunity to sell to students as many people are oblivious about their talent and what they have to offer to the world. They are renovating existing commodities and even inventing their own. Nonetheless, they are rarely given opportunities to showcase these things. These kinds of experiences encourage students in this age group to work hard and may guide them when choosing their career paths. This a step towards reducing unemployment and increasing the development rate in Rwanda.
