Project Grey Ribbon-Brain Cancer Awareness Advocacy

In 2021, together with my family and select friends, we registered and initiated to establish Project Grey Ribbon, a duly registered non-stock non profit NGO that focuses on Brain Cancer Awareness advocacy and support group to Brain Cancer Warriors and their families in North-Central Philippines. As a son of a brain cancer warrior, this act is inspired by my mom’s battle and story of faith and fortitude. Brain Cancer is a lingering danger and enemy that gradually takes away our loved ones regardless of their age, gender or social status. We need to act and reach out to more people and get them informed.

Project Grey Ribbon is the first non-stock, non-profit organization in Northern Philippines that engages with brain cancer awareness advocacy through post operation brain cancer support group, forums and recovery assistance to brain cancer patients and their families and help them cope with patient care and well-being.

In the future, Project Grey Ribbon will coordinate with established Brain Cancer Support Organizations in the Philippines to help more people.

I can only spark a fire. But it's our collective aspirations for a better life that can make a bright light in the darkest hours. WE NEED MORE VOLUNTEERS.

At present, Project Grey Ribbon is funded through donations and my own pledge as a social entrepreneur. As it turn out, my limited resources cannot sustain, help and reach more vulnerable people and beneficiaries. I believe that I need to tap more people to take a stand with me in this cause and bring more humanity closer together.

The fund that will be raised in this campaign will be used to conduct Brain Awareness Campaign in North-Central Luzon in partnership with volunteer doctors and government agencies in the Philippines.
