PPE FOR FRONTLINERS IN THE UNREACHED PROVINCES IN THE PHILLIPINES

Few months back, We have started a donation drive to support the Health Care Workers in the Philippines who are situated in areas in the City of Manila that are primarily exhausting their resources in receiving, caring and managing COVID19 patients. Thanks to the generous donors, we were able to buy and send essentials such as alcohols/sanitizers. we also have included the armed men and women behind the checkpoints who are working tirelessly, night and day, to ensure everybody/s safety.

However, It is very sad and heart breaking to receive news directly coming from colleagues serving in the provinces of the Philippines such as Caraga, Zamboanga Area, Sultan Kudarat and Maguindanao Provinces and are facing catastrophic shortages of PPEs which makes them vulnerable and at risk from being not properly protected from the transmission of the virus. Those problems mainly includes:

- Unavailability of the Appropriate Standard Personal Protective Equipment

- Unavailability of sanitizers/alcohols/disinfectants

And that, Ladies and Gentlemen of good hearts, without the proper protection. my fellow frontlines cannot be able to give ample, necessary service for the patients they care for.

I know that there have been a lot of fund raising activities done by individuals with soft and helping hearts but unfortunately, those who are situated in the Provinces of the Philippines (especially the far ones) are not able to receive any of those ameliorations.

If this is too much of a favor, I ask for an apology. However, I cannot open my eyes and see how my colleagues suffer from those insufficiencies. I know how it feels. I know how worried they must be for there families. For their loved ones. For their colleagues. And for themselves.

At these times of uncertainties, the human connection has been greatly strengthened. And at these times of uncertainties, I know, that we got each other's backs.

So, I am knocking on your hearts to share whatever monetary donations you can share, whenever you can. Any amount is of great contribution for the provision of the following PPEs:

3. N95 Masks

4. Waterproof Coveralls

5. Yellow/Blue Gown

6. Face Shield

7. Head Cap

8. Goggles

9. Shoe Cover

Let us extend our helping hands to our brothers and sisters who are like me, willing to risk lives, in the service of human compassion and care.
