Mommy Juliet’s Fight for Cancer – Medical Bills and Ongoing Treatment

Hello, everyone.

This is the first time I am doing this and I am hoping we will be lucky enough to make this work.

I am knocking on your kind hearts in seeking help and assistance to fund my mother's current, and ongoing medical bills and treatments for the tumors that is growing all around her body especially in her lungs. There is no final result yet but the doctor said it is most likely cancer as her current implication is not getting any better.

My mother, Juliet, 57 years old, who's currently located in the Philippines while I am in Malaysia working. She is a single mother who has raised us since my father left about 15 years ago.

I did my best to fund my mom's medical bills alone but I've already used up my savings. We do not know exactly how much we will be needing until she hopefully recovers but we do have some estimate, it will be at least USD 10,000 / MYR 46,000 - 49,000. This will hopefully keep us afloat while also doing our best to add whatever still will be needed.

She just finished her Biospy, current major treatment is ongoing Radio Therapy - minimum 10 sessions to hopefully help her feel her lower body and will require more sessions after - most probably minimum 30 Radio Therapy Sessions. After that will be Chemo Therapy to reduce the size of the main Lung Tumor and then will go to surgery to hopefully take it off

My mom has developed tumor in her lungs and is currently in the hospital, undergoing radio therapy to kill the small tumors that have been growing in other parts of her body that is removing her ability to walk. Unfortunately, we were not able to detect this much earlier as she only was feeling a tired back a couple months ago thinking that she just maybe tired. Until one day, around May 2023, she started feeling bad pain. The the doctor said her condition is critical and immediate treatments needed to be done. Because of her inability to walk and tumor in her lungs that causes difficulty in breathing and shortness of oxygen in the brain, she is currently bed ridden and needs to have everything done while laying down. At the moment, my brother is her full time care taker.

She is looking okay from the outside but is critically ill on the inside. I hope it won't get worse and by having it treated, even though the doctor says that it's critical. Our hopes are still up, we still want her to have the fight and be strong, to have her life prolonged, and we are hoping people can help.

My mom have such a beautiful and kind heart. She would rather not have us worry and suffer for her condition but we still haven't given her the life where her only worry would be what would make her happy. She has been sacrificing everything since my dad left and we still want her to live a longer and happy life.
