Please help women in war to start their projects

As a facilitator of Hive Women project and Global Heart Project launched a 10-12 weeks program called Women Leadership Program in Sanaa, Yemen to help women find their purposes, love themselves, step into their leadership power, and create projects that will gain them financial independence and security that will led them to uplift their community.

Yemen, a country riven by civil war for the last four years and lacking a functional government or legal system, where poverty is legion and tens of thousands of people have died of starvation and disease. Also, the lack of water and electricity.

Yemen is outstanding at trampling on women’s rights. Among the 146 countries surveyed in 2019 by the World Economic Forum in this category, Yemen came in last.

With a female literacy rate of 35 per cent, a female to male income ratio of 30:100, and ranked 134 globally in educational attainment for women, Yemen has been deemed the worst place to live as a woman. Women in Yemen have minimal rights to education, marriage, health care, and they are denied many basic human rights.

Yemen was one of the toughest places to be female. Deeply ingrained patriarchy means many women and girls cannot access their family’s finances, make decisions for the household, or even move about freely. They have limited access to education, livelihoods and women’s health services.

During my sessions with the women who I managed and dedicated my time for 8 women having one-on-one talks and build a safe environment for them to love themselves and support each other holding hand by hand. The sessions helped them to love themselves, have deep talks about their fears, challenges, and how to overcome them. All of them found their passions and purposes. There are who started with homemade perfumes and traditional incense, lotions and there are who overcome bad relationships, there are who want to start a cancer awareness programs that does not exist in the society, there are also who started their education at the age of 60 to achieve self-development during our program, there are who want to start an electronic education in the country which lacks it, saying quoted: "To uplift society is by providing the best education for children who are the future". I struggled to pay for conference rooms and get them the materials they needed, but I did all I can, and I am proud to see them shine bright and have the confidence to embark their new journey.

These women have so many potentials that they want to fulfill and can create a change for themselves and their community for the best. But living in a war-torn country and due to war, there is a financial crisis. Therefore, I would like to fund-raise and collect some money for them enough to motive them. I just want them to know they are supported and their dreams do matter and will make a change that they deserve. I don't them to fall back so I created this page to find help and get support for them.

So please help those women, support them in their tough times, share their message for them to achieve their dreams and many more.

The money will not be enough for each to start their projects, but it will help them to take the first step. Therefore, the money will be given to the women to take the initiative for their projects like transportation, paper works and buying essential needs for the projects.

It will make a difference and you will be saving lives. I hope the message reached to you, and you understand how important your contribution will be.
