Please help us to extend the life of our Mom

Good day,

I'm Eloisa Bacason from Cavite, Philippines. I have my Father, Eleuterio Bacason and younger brother, Gerard Bacason with me for this project.

My Mom is fighting against COVID-19

As of this writing, April 23, 2020 4:36 PM (Philippine time), she’s under closed monitoring in the Intensive Care Unit at De La Salle University Medical Center, Dasmarinas, Cavite for about 5 days now. She is diagnosed with pneumonia and later, after the hospital conducted a Rapid Antibody Test, it was found out that she contracted the COVID-19. We are still waiting for the test result from Regional Institute of Tropical Medicine (RITM) for confirmatory test. She was already given drugs like hydroxychloroquine and tocilizumab, drugs under trial for recovering COVID-19 patients. According to her doctor, as of today, the infection is in progression. But, we are still hopeful that she will continue the fight and will not give up.

We need your support

We are raising money for the coverage of her hospital bill. As of today, it has ballooned up to Php 600,000 (doctors’ professional fees are excluded) in just 7 days. Though, we are fortunate that her company is very supportive and has her health insurance coverage; but with the current development, I felt that the battle is far from over as she continues to fight.

My father, my brother and I are knocking to your good hearts. Any small amount accumulated can go a long way to extend the life of my mom, Gertrudes Aquino-Bacason.
