Good day everyone! We, Stephanie & Jordan, children of Boy Perez (Jose Danilo Perez), together with our Mama Rose and our respective families, would like to knock on your good hearts.
Last Sunday, January 23, 2022, Papa Boy was rushed to the hospital due to difficulty in breathing. Upon admission, his blood oxygen level was 50 that's why he was immediately intubated. Few hours later, he had cardiac arrest twice in the ER. Thankfully, he got revived but currently in comatose state. On Monday (Jan. 24), we got his RT-PCR result and he's Covid19 positive with pneumonia, COPD & emphysema. He is fully vaccinated but his condition got worsened due to the underlying conditions of his lungs.
Papa is 61 years old and currently admitted at Makati Medical Center - Neuro ICU Isolation. He is intubated attached to a mechanical ventilator, Internal Jugular Vein (IJV) catheter was placed for his medications and Chest tube was inserted to release/drain the air from his chest. CT Scan was also performed to further check his condition. He is currently being managed by a Pulmonologist, Cardiologist and Neurologist and doctors are focusing on treating the viral and bacterial infections of the lungs and blood. As of this writing, his vital signs are improving, still in coma and in critical condition but Papa Boy is continuously fighting for his life that's why we are doing everything that we can to provide the best care there is.
In his 24-hours of stay in the hospital, our medical bill is already Php 228,197.73 (USD $4,446.20). Our family including all my aunts, uncles, cousins and extended families are all doing our best to help Papa Boy survive but we're afraid our funds would not be enough to cover all his medical needs. So, we are knocking at your kind hearts to help us, in prayers and in kind.
Our Papa Boy and the whole family would be very delighted to any donation we will receive from the depths of our hearts. Any amount will be of great help. More than that, we would love to receive your prayers for our Papa's quick healing recovery. And, we'll just post more updates regarding Papa's health condition from time to time. God bless you! No more recurrence of pneumothorax observed and his Pulmonologist is still trying to slowly wean him off from. . . . .

This is due to his secondary spontaneous pneumothorax because of COPD. The goal of this surgery is to prevent the recurrence of the abnormal collection of air in his. . . . .

However, last night he had an episode of difficulty in breathing and recurrence of pneumothorax was observed. Thus, a chest tube reinsertion had to be done. . . . .

He's covid free and this afternoon, he was transferred from the covid ICU to a regular ICU (medical/surgical). * The pulmonologist tried to wean him off from the. . . . .

Here are some updates that we've received from the doctors today, February 3, 2022.* A repeat swabbing was performed yesterday morning. We received Papa's RT-PCR result today and it's NEGATIVE (Thank you, Lord!!! 🙏🏻). * Pulmonologist will now focus the treatment on his other lung problems.* Tracheostomy. . . . .

With minimal withdrawal to pain. Still has episodes of diarrhea but fecalysis result is normal. The gastroenterologist attributed. . . . .
