Please help my cat Buddie have Eye Surgery

My cat Buddie is 8 years old. He is an Auckland Tabby that I rescued from the S.P.C.A as a kitten. When I found him at the S.P.C.A he was in the hospital recovering from the cat flu, he was such a cute little thing with an amazing personality and I knew straight away he was the companion for me.

Buddie has regular check ups at the vet as his cat flu symptoms can be reoccurring.

Just recently Buddie has been suffering very sore eyes. He has a condition called Entropion which is a genetic condition in which a portion of the eyelid is inverted or folded inward against the eyeball. This results in irritation and scratches to the cornea -- the front surface of the eye -- leading to corneal ulceration, or corneal perforation.

We have tried several antibiotics and remedies from the vet but nothing is working. The next step now is for Buddie to have Eye Surgery to correct the eyelid.

The surgery and on going care is going to cost in excess of $1000 and this is the reason for me fundraising.

I cannot afford this on my own and I don't want to see Buddie in pain anymore.
