Hi
My name is Linda and is 32 years old. I live in Stockholm, Sweden.
2003 me and my family got our car hit from behind by another car, which resulted in serious neck injuries on four of the five family members.
I have a instability in the cervical vertebra 2-6, so the ligaments are stretched.
I live with constant pain in the neck, head, shoulders and lower back, numbness, nausea, but also a lot kognetiva problems as memory loss, difficulty concentrating, tinntus, fatigue, sleep disturbance, blackoutattacker, dizziness, poor balance and much more.
I also have arthritis / SLE since 2008. But with chemotherapy (Methotrexate), I am almost pain free.
Other diagnoses I also have is ADD, IBS and Social Phobia .

The operation:

I'm very proud to be Swedish and I would never want to move from here.
We usually have good medical care that does not cost the Swedes much. We have good parental contribution, school, etc. But there are obvious negative things too. Just take the usual compensation insurance, it works fine as long as you have the "right" diagnosis/injury.
The insurance company only pays out money to operations carried out in Sweden, which not my fusion surgery does. It does this in Iran, Poland and Spain and it´s a neck arthrodesis.
Swedish doctors do not even want to learn how to operate, because according to them does not neck/whiplash injury in Sweden exist.
It's a risky operation (as many others are), but I'm willing to take that risk for a better life. I can get a 60% improvement.

I will be appreciative any donations made.
Linda
