Please help us save my Mama from GBS (Guillian Barré Syndrome)

Last July 2019, at the age of 60 my mom was diagnosed with a rare disease called Guillian Barre Syndrome. GBS is a rare but serious autoimmune disorder which your body's immune system attacks your nerves. What happens after? This leads to weakness, numbness, and tingling, and can eventually cause paralysis.

Right now, Mama has totally lost her abililty to stand, walk, eat by herself, use mobile phone and many more. She's already on diapers as she cant even bare to be walked to the rest room for her personal necessities. Every inch of movement is very painful 😔😔. She had to lie down almost all day due to weakness. She is suffering but at the same time She is fighting 🙏This disease is trying to steal the supposed to be wonderful life that my mom deserves to live. But no, we will not let that happen.

The medication that my Mama need is called IVIG (Intravenous immunoglobulin). It is a vial which costs from P12,500 upto P22,000 each and we need 26 pcs of it. PGH (Philippine General Hospital) can only offer 11 pcs for 11,900 each then the rest needs to be out sourced. In short, I need to buy the IVIG vials myself to complete the dose that Mama needs. Private hospitals are not an option, because its way too expensive. Neuro cases are not covered by HMO cards so we had to go to PGH and give it a try. The reason why they can't procure even if this is an emergency case? that I dont know. They only gave her steroids which unfortunately didn't help as my mom can now feel the prickling and pain climbing upto her neck. The pain all the way to her neck is a red flag which why I had to be bold and made this post.

My family is giving it our all to be able to complete the funds that we need to buy the medication that my mom needs..And yes, lumapit na kame sa lahat ng pwedeng lapitan..Munispyo, Barangay, PCSO, GBS community and etc but 400k is too much for them to cover.

We are humbly asking for your help to save my mom. We would be very grateful for any help we could get from all of you. Any aid or form of help will be highly appreciated. Yes, we need your help 🙏. Anything will do and we will embrace it with arms wide open. We're battling with time right now as we are trying to avoid the disease to spread which might lead to paralysis.
