Help me fund my first international conference

Hello! I am Aira Faye Ramat a 19-year-old college student from the Philippines and I am one of the 500 selected participants of K-ICE (Korean-International and Cultural Education) all over the world. I joined K-ICE program as I got interested on their goal to bring the young generation from across the world to learn about Korea, from its history and culture, education, to its lifestyle and to be a place where young generation could find new opportunities such as new perspectives, new friends, and new ideas by learning Korea directly in different topic in Seoul, South Korea. Korea has been one of the fastest growing countries in Asia and one of the best in the world proven by their educational system that are even ranked among the best universities in the world. Filipino youth has also become more interested in Korea because of their rich culture, entertainment, and lifestyle but despite the support of the Filipino youth in the Korean or Asian wave I’ve witnessed on how Filipinos are belittled by other Asian countries referring to us that we are the “black” version of Asians and we are not as intelligent as other Asians.

There is a total of 12,600 K-ICE applicants and I am lucky enough to be invited in Seoul, South Korea on November 2-6, 2018. But as a young adult I have the passion and productivity but lack the resources that I need. Therefore, I am asking for financial assistance for this event because my parent’s income is not enough to pay for all of the expense, and I am merely a student with an opportunity to change and contribute to growing culture of Korea and their relationship with different countries around the world. My goal in joining this event is to strengthen the relationship between Filipino youth and other Asian countries, learn more on the similarities of Filipino and Korean culture as we are both from the Asian region, and to discuss the problems in our education system both here in the Philippines and find ways to solve them as a member of this generation. I have chosen your company for I know that we share the same goals in promoting Korean Culture and strengthening relationships between our countries. Any amount that you contribute is great help for a student like me to achieve my goals.
