Build A Permanent No-Kill Shelter For Dogs

Hello! This cause is for the abandoned and stray dogs in our area. We started this fundraiser so we can get the items needed for the dogs and their shelter.

As per Mrs. Erlinda Roy / 09457842169, the Homeowners Association President, the shelter is located at:

Near the Open Area, Springville Heights Phase-4, Molino 7, Bacoor, Cavite

The story is that, a few weeks ago, the barangay people and homeowners association officers had started an operation to catch the abandoned and stray dogs.

I asked them where they are taking the dogs. Their initial plan is to catch the dogs and just have them held at the temporary shelter (which they are still fixing because it was an old piggery house) for three days then they will move out the dogs to the city hall pound with no other concrete plans.

I asked the barangay personnel and the homeowners association president if they could prolong the stay of the caught dogs at the temporary shelter.

I suggested if they could make the temporary shelter to become a permanent no-kill shelter so the dogs don't have to be moved out to pounds because but their concern was the maintenance of the dogs and the shelter.

I informed them that there are people who are willing to be volunteers to take care of the dogs. It can also be a way to look for good and responsible owners for these dogs.

We would like to ask for your support in reconstructing the shelter and help the dogs with their food, grooming, health needs and shelter maintenance.

We are also accepting old / scrap materials that can be used in reconstructing the shelter like wood and steel.
