Peri-Urban Agriculture

The project will be implemented in kitgum district uganda, the project goals is to enhance productivity food crops and animal productivity units that provide livelihood to the target population ans greening the trade centre with new flower gardens and maintaining the existing flower gardens.

The intervention will be aimed at; food security and nutrition improvement of the targetbeneficiary, environmental protection through greening effect of the urban agriculture and improving soil fertility and enhance  productivity of urban and rural agriculture and identify sustainable markets for the agricultural outputs

The implementation areas encounters problems common to insurgency which brought lost of homes, increase  HIV/AIDs prevalence,Drug use, redundancy and other associated sicknesses.
