My sister-in-law was admitted at Perpetual Help Hospital on August 30, 2020 due to weakness of lower limbs to the point she is not able to stand up. Several tests later, she is diagnosed to be suffering "Rhabdomyolosis" which is the breakdown of damaged skeletal muscle. Muscle breakdown causes the release of myoglobin into the bloodstream. Myoglobin is the protein that stores oxygen in your muscles. If there is too much myoglobin in the blood, it can cause kidney damage.

A little back story. Pam has been insulin-dependent due to diabetes since she was 16 years old. As we all know, diabetes result to complications, 5 years ago Pam lost her eyesight, 2 years after she lost her breasts due to a cancer scare and has been having dialysis treatment twice a week since.

We are knocking on your hearts and humbly asking for donations to help us with her medical/hospital expenses which to date has gone up to more than 300 thousand pesos, we are still uncertain when she will be released as she has also developed pneumonia making it difficult to breathe without the aide of an oxygen tank. We also ask for prayers for her fast recovery.

Any amount will be greatly appreciated.
