Community pantry started in Maginhawa, Quezon City, Philippines inspired a lot of people to set up their own community pantries in different areas in the Philippines. Community pantries show the spirit of "bayanihan", as it is a form of initiative acts of a person or group of persons offering aid to ease hunger of people affected from imposed quarantine lockdown due to Covid-19 pandemic. Our group here in Imus City, Cavite, sets up a different version of community pantry, instead of staying in one area, we are moving from one place to another place that we called "Mobile Community Pantry", the purpose is for the help to reach other places and to bring the help to a larger numbers of people who are in need. This mobile community pantry will still continue to its operation as long as there is continuity of flow of donations, in kind or in cash, from our donors. The recipients of help is open for all as well as to those sender of help, "from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs."
