The Philippines, as we all know, is in the throes of a pandemic that has affected the entire country. With schools forced to adapt to distance learning and teachers left without materials necessary to teach their students properly, it's like they're being given more than one handicap at a time.
This has made education even harder for Iraya Mangyan students in remote areas. The need for printed-out modules and learning materials has never been so evident.
We've been working on a solution: we'll be raising funds to purchase printers and printing materials for teachers at ten extension schools focused on Mangyan students, which will enable them to print out study guides, worksheets, and other resources. This way, they will not need to visit the main campus in order to have access to printing materials, and can quickly provide learning materials the moment their students need them.
There's never been a better time than now to help these educators!
The following items will be included per Teachers Package
3-in-1 Printer (Php 9,500)
10 reams Bond Paper (Php 190 each, for a total of Php1,900)
2 sets printer ink (Php 1,200 per set, for a total of Php 2,400)
For a total of Php 13,800 per Teacher's Package
|Item||Unit Cost||Units Needed||Total|
|3-in-1 printer||Php 9,500||10||Php 95,000|
|10 Reams of Bond Paper||Php 1,900 (per set of 10)||10||Php 19,000|
|2 sets of ink||Php 3,200 (2 sets of inks)||10||Php 32,000|
We intend to provide Teacher's Packages to ten Mangyan schools, which are as follows:
1. Cabacao ES – Banabaan Extension - printer delivered, paper and ink to follow
2. Cabacao ES – Mamara Extension - printer delivered, paper and ink to follow
3. Cabacao ES - Balantoy - printer delivered, paper and ink to follow
4. Mayba Minority School - printer delivered, paper and ink to follow
5. Alacaak Minority School - printer delivered, paper and ink to follow
6. Baclaran Minority School - printer delivered, paper and ink to follow
7. Agdilaw Minority School

We shall be distributing the Teacher's Packages directly to the school educators. Our organization, BolunturismoPH, together with SulatKamay, has been supporting these schools by providing school supplies and storybooks to the students several years before the pandemic began.
Visit BolunturismoPH Facebook Page to learn more about our socio-civic works.
For this task, we need to raise a total of Php102,400.
We have so far raised Php 71,200, hence we need Php74,800 more.
As this platform takes 4% of fees for all funds raised and Paypal takes another 4.5%, our goal is to reach Php105,050 to be able to buy all printing materials completely.
You can send us your donations directly via GCash or bank transfer, please send us a message how. All transactions will be recorded and receipts uploaded for donors' perusal.
You can reach us via the following:https://web.facebook.com/SulatKamayCom
